What this service does

Trademark MCP provides preliminary trademark screening over word marks held in official public registers. It is a triage aid, not legal advice.

Data sources

The service reuses open public data published by official intellectual-property offices, including the EUIPO (European Union) and the INPI (France), with further registers (WIPO, USPTO) planned. These registers publish trademark records, which may include the names of trademark holders, including individuals who filed a mark in their own name.

Legal basis and purpose

This data is reused on the basis of legitimate interest, for the sole purpose of preliminary trademark screening (identifying earlier marks that may be similar to a proposed sign). The reuse complies with the reuse licences of the source registers.

Your rights

If your personal data appears in the underlying registers and you wish to exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, or objection, contact us at the address below. We will respond in accordance with applicable data-protection law (GDPR). Note that the authoritative source remains the official register; removal here does not affect the public register itself.
